ZelleBam is a loyal, goofy, and sweet 1.5-year-old dog who loves his people and thrives in a calm, consistent environment. He was originally adopted from the SLC County Animal Shelter in September 2025, and we’ve had him since then. Our household is very dynamic and we travel frequently, so we’re looking for a home that can provide the stability and routine he needs to truly thrive.
He has medium energy and enjoys a long walk, joining you on a bike ride, or a good game of tug. Otherwise, he’s very happy sunbathing or lounging nearby. Bam is crate trained, house trained, and knows basic commands like sit, down, back up, and come. He is UTD on all shots and monthly heartworm and is neutered.
He gets along great with other dogs but has not been tested with cats or children. On walks and hikes he does very well off leash and loves being part of his pack. He does not resource guard—he happily shares toys and bones and is comfortable with people being near his food while eating (he is typically fed in his crate). He does not mind loud noises like power tools or fireworks and will lay around our shop when we're working.
Bam can be cautious with unfamiliar people entering his home and does best with calm, on-leash introductions until he feels comfortable. When he becomes overwhelmed, we crate him to help him settle. This behavior is primarily limited to the home—outside the house he is much more relaxed with strangers and absolutely adores his trainers. He completed formal training with K9 Lifeline in Draper, and ongoing training, socials, and group walks are available to him and his future owners through that program.
