PayPalI have a sorrel flaxen mane grade gelding up for sale. He has just over 30 rides on him and is coming along really well. He rides out nice, he isn't love sick for other horses and will stand tied. He neck reins pretty good and has a good stop.
In his 30 rides he hasn't been ridden hard but has had good quality rides put on. He has pushed cows and been ridden in the mountains. He crosses logs, and water no problem. We have played around with the rope a lot on him and dragged things around.
He stands at just over 14 hands and is probably about 900 pounds I am guessing. Right now he isn't the biggest but I think he will fill out a lot this year. I am not a pro at the string test but if it is correct he should finish out at about 14.3. He still has some winter hair but is shedding.
My 13 year old boy has put the last few rides on him and really likes him they have gotten along great. He is not finished and does need someone with experience. He can be a little watchy towards some things sometimes but isn't real bad. He is ready for the next level and ready to be finished. I think he could go in about any direction but in his first 30 rides he has mainly done ranch work and been ridden in the mountain. With a little more work he'll make fantastic horse.
