New trio has just started rehearsing in the Mill Creek area by REI off 3300 South.

The guitarist/singer and drummer have performed together for almost 20 years and I have joined on bass/vocals.

We're looking to add a horn player (sax or trumpet) and a keyboard player (funky clavinet, organ, Rhodes). Vocals a plus but not a dealbreaker.

We're playing groove oriented music with influences of the following groups just to name a couple: Soulive, Karl Denson, Galactic, and Lettuce

Our music interests are wide and varied though. We'll do our own takes of songs and are looking to write originals as well.

We want to get together to play weekly with people that are a good hang most importantly.

We'll look to perform good gigs (outdoors or indoors with good sound systems/audiences) rather than playing late night bar gigs. We're not interested in that any longer as we're in our late 40's and 50's.
