2022 Cervelo 54cm R5 with SRAM Force AXS and Roval wheels.
This R5 Cervelo frameset is equivalent to (or better than) a Specialized SWorks Tarmac in my opinion and I have owned many of the Tarmacs (both Pro and S Works. The longest ride I have done on this is a 50 mile ride. The original chain is still perfect and there is no “wear” or “stretch” on it. I have ridden this bike very little and it shows.
I bought it knowing that there was a crack or damaged and I had the frame professionally repaired. That was a few seasons ago and I had no concerns of the repair since it was done. I have not put a huge amount of miles on this bike. I would guess that I put maybe 500 miles to 1000 on it, if that. If you want a stellar bike at a killer price this is it.
The bike weighs 16 pounds 2 ounces with batteries, but otherwise the same as in the photos.
Again I want to be transparent, I bought it with the top tube crack and right then I then had the repair done by a professionally carbon bike repairer. The crack was not through the entire tube as you can see in the photo and from the fact that the new carbon does not encircle the entire top-tube. Just prior to listing this, in the first week of April, I had the area ultrasound by a professional and his report said, “top tube repaired properly, no safety concerns.” See photo of the report.
You could easily have the repaired area wrapped in a black matte finish or have it painted if you really care.
The frameset alone retailed for over $5000 The Force AXS group I bought new for over $2500. The carbon Force cranks are 165mm in length with a big ring of 46t and small of 33t. I purchased the crank arms last season and got very little use out of them. The cassette is a Force 12 speed, 10-33t. The carbon seatpost has a GoPro / Garmin mount on it. The bike has Roval C38 carbon wheels, which retail for $1200 and are laced to DT Swiss 350 hubs. Lightweight TPU tubes are installed on these wheels. The saddle is just a lightweight carbon railed seat that allows for it to be ridden.
The bike is setup with a 100mm stem in length with an 8 degree rise. Hidden internally run hydraulic SRAM Force disc brakes which are run thru the 42cm Cervelo carbon handle bar and their aluminum stem. The set of wireless Force shifters offer a very great look. Just last year I was fitted on the bike and I was advised to change to 165mm crank arms, so that is why they are newer than the other Force components.
The original handle bar tape shows no wear, which shows the amount of use that I have put into this bike.
The bike comes without pedals.
Also included are two pairs of Vittoria 28c tires. So four tires in total.
Two AXS batteries, charger and the red battery covers and the derailleur occupiers. I am asking for $2750 or best offer. Right now I am not looking for trades and I only accept cash. So no Venmo and please no codes. KSL messenger is the best way to get ahold of me.
