18 year old grade mare for sale. She’s been primarily used as a trail horse. She’s 14-14.1hh and very stocky. Solid hard feet. Doesn’t need shoes. Will travel through anything. Despite her age, she will out walk a lot of other horses. Rides by herself or in a group. Been roped off of, but not in an arena. Doesn’t mind dogs. Been used by a child as their go to ride. (12 year old boy) I’ve never had her offer to buck. Not the slightest bit “mare-ish”.

Now her down side. She hates her feet handled. She can be hard to load if she’s first in, but hops right in if she’s not first. She doesn’t like bikes or ATV’s, but mainly because she hasn’t really been exposed to them. She’s been primarily used in the back country. Has been laid off for a year, and didn’t want to take the bit. I didn’t have time to mess with her then and haven’t been able to since. So needs a little tune up. She’s never refused a bit before, so I’m confident it was a one off thing.
