ZelleHeifers are out in a pasture so in person viewing will need to be arranged ahead so we can bring them up on horses. They are $4500 each. Delivery can be arranged if desired.
Heifer ID 198 calved 3/16/24 BW 76# Ultrasounded on 9/10/25 @ 45 days pregnant Due approximately May 5, 2026
Heifer ID 200 Calved 3/25/25 BW 85# Ultrasounded on 9/10/25 @ 30 days pregnant Due approximately May 20, 2026
heifer ID 202 Calved 4/22/24 BW 71# Ultrasounded on 9/10/25 @ 35 days pregnant Due approximately May 25, 2026
All 3 heifers are registered purebred Herefords. They are up to date on parasite/wormer applications. Valbazen oral wormer and ivermectin pour-on administered Mar 28, 2026. They were treated for respiratory virus and 8 way/pink eye last year. Heifers have been out on pasture all winter with only light protein supplementation and have done well foraging through what little snow we had.
Each heifer has the same sire. He had solid offspring with good udders and small teats with excellent calving ease (never pulled a calf from this bull). His dam is still in our herd and she is a 12 yr old cow with a good udder and disposition. We have a few other half siblings to these heifers that have calved out this year without issue and have mothered up with their calves
They are docile heifers that are easy to work with and handle. They are starting to develope their udders for calving and are getting close to that time.
Each heifer is bred to a angus bull. He does carry red recessive so they could be red baldy calves. He is an AI son of Baldridge Gibson and he should sire excellent calves (last year was his first breeding year and we haven’t seen any of his calves hit the ground yet). He is a solid built bull with good genetics and one we will be using as our cleanup bull for the next several years.
Ranch/Breeder information: C&C Ranch (https://www.campbellsranch.com/) is an 8th generation Cache Valley ranch that is currently growing the 9th generation to hopefully keep it going. We follow a strict vaccination and parasite program and follow the newest research in breeding and animal husbandry to produce the most quality animals we can. Our mineral/vitamin supplementation is a custom mix that utilizes liver sample evaluation to ensure we’re providing the best mix we can for our animals. We do not actively PAP test our bulls as we are not at the minimum 6000 foot elevation which is needed to get an accurate test completed. We buy genetics from ranches that do PAP test their animals and run them at very high elevations and they do not have issues. Our pastures are not irrigated fields and we expect our animals to perform across a variety of conditions to produce quality offspring. Our family works hard to offer quality animals that we stand behind and anything we sell for breeding is an animal we would use ourselves.
KSL Classifieds makes it easy to buy and sell with peace of mind. Check our safety tips and quickly report anything that doesn’t look right to keep your experience smooth and secure.
