ApplePayI bought this GE 8,000 BTU window unit brand new last summer because my wife and I lived in a crappy apartment and our landlord shut off the air conditioning without telling us. It works amazingly and kept our apartment nice and cool despite being an upstairs unit with no insulation that got super warm in the summer!
It works great, we just moved to a much nicer place and won’t need it this summer.
The unit itself is 13 inches tall by 22 inches wide, and the accordion style spacers will expand up to 6” on either side. It comes with an extra set of spacers as well! Fits windows that open up and down, not side to side.
I paid almost $300 for it and we used it for 2 months before moving. It’s sat in storage in my shed since last summer and is in like-new condition.
