VenmoHey There Delilah is a 14.3 hh, 7 year old, BLM Mustang mare from the Divide Basin HMA. I have owned her for almost a year and she’s progressing wonderfully!
Pros: She is perfectly healthy, stands like an angel for saddling and mounting, loves kids and has walked and trotted them around before, and she lives on a farm with dogs, chickens, kids, and other horses so she is good with all of them. This girl is ridiculously smooth! She responds perfectly to rein and leg pressure, is learning how to neck rein, and picks up all four hooves. She is registered with the North American Mustang Association & Registry, is great with other horses, UTD on all worming and vaccinations, has had her feet trimmed recently, and behaves well in a herd. She is green broke, but doing very well in training. She does really well even after having time off. She is also not barn sour or buddy sour.
Cons: She can be spicy and hard to catch. But once she’s haltered, she listens beautifully. She does hang back and has been a bit difficult for the ferrier, but not bad enough that we couldn’t finish trimming her.
