PayPalMy hens are laying and I have more eggs than we can eat or incubate. So, I am selling hatching eggs for $25 per dozen (plus extras)
These eggs are from English Orpingtons. Not the same breed as the Standard (American) Orpingtons as sold in the feed stores here in Utah.
Google both Standard and English Orpingtons and large fowl chicken breeds.
Be aware that it can take up to 12 months from. hatch for these pullets to start laying, as they are large fowl and take a bit longer to mature then most other breeds out there.
The hens will weigh about 8 pounds and roosters can get over 15 pounds, once fully matured. Therefore, if you were inclined to process, they are an exceptional meat chicken.
If not, they also make great (childrens) pet. They are very docile and gentle (even most roosters) They come when called and are generally under foot when outside doing chores, wanting attention.
If you are new to hatching, I'm here to answer your questions even if you do not buy hatching eggs from me. I've been hatching, raising and selling English for going on 17 years
I can also mail hatching Eggs, but it is quite expensive. $25 per dozen eggs (an additional $25 for 2 dozen eggs) $10 for styrofoam egg mailer and $25 for priority shipping. So minimum cost to mail would be $60 per dozen and $85 for two dozen.
For pick up I live on 14400 s in Bluffdale by the city park.
