Power is 2009 big stout mare that is gentle as can be. She loves attention and is easy to catch anywhere. We purchased her to use as a broodmare but as we’ve gotten ready to breed her the past 2 years (2024 and 2025) it looks like she isn’t cycling, because of that we haven’t even tried to breed her (we only AI). She could possibly take and may just need some progesterone, something else for her hormones, or could be turned out with a stud. We haven’t ultrasounded her this spring so I don’t know how she’s looking this spring. I do know that she’s had colts for previous owners. I don’t know what her riding past is but I have ridden her probably 25 times over the past 3 years. She’s pretty gentle and hasn’t offered to buck or anything, she’s not super soft in the mouth but does alright plow reigning. I’m not wanting to put a bunch of time or money in to her, but this could be a steal for someone who has some time to ride her or the ability to use her as a broodmare. She’s built like a bus and looks great year round no matter what she’s eating. Come get yourself a nice mare
