Mate him with any hen, large and small and you will have some fun interesting chicks! He can successfully breed Jersey Giants! He is talented! He is also very friendly and when he feels like it he will sit with you in a chair. He was hand-raised and if given the opportunity will stroll right in the front door when it is opened! He is ugly but oh so cool!
The other rooster is a purebred Jubilee Orpington. We have many of his daughters in our flock and they are great layers and well built. He is a good gentle rooster too.
