VenmoThe iris are starting to bloom! We have some great colors. Although not all of the iris are currently blooming, you can still see what they look like because I have a photo album with pictures of each variety.
When you choose which varieties you want, we dig the iris and put them in a box or in plastic bags. (If you have a box or bucket, feel free to bring them). It is best to plant your iris the same day you buy them.
Iris are a wonderful, hardy perennial that come back every year. Each year I order new colors from different iris farms and have them shipped to me, so each year, we have new, gorgeous colors to pick from. We have sold iris for ten years now from our backyard garden.
Although we have close to 100 varieties, not all are available this year. Last fall, we transplanted many of our iris to make room for more varieties and the move set them back a bit. Also, we had a hard freeze this spring that damaged many of our plants. There was no damage to the roots, but only the tender buds. So, some of the flowers will not look as well as they normally do. Also, the lack of irrigation water has had an effect on them.
Note: I posted a variety of pictures, but they are only a representative of the many different iris we have. Be aware that I cannot tell you those colors will be available when you come, as quantities this year will be limited.
KSL Classifieds makes it easy to buy and sell with peace of mind. Check our safety tips and quickly report anything that doesn’t look right to keep your experience smooth and secure.
