APHA gorgeous buckskin dun paint, possible homozygous dun. Sprite is two years old, good confirmation, frame and bone. We got her untouched and have started halter training her. She has started the basics of lunging, bending and yielding. I am able to pet/brush from her head to the hocks/knees. We haven’t started with feet yet. She is shy with her poll when brushing/touching but I’ve been able to halter her and if you move at her pace, she is fine. She is working on trusting people and can take 2-10 min to catch depending on the day. She is smart and picks up things quickly, because of this I wouldn’t sell her for someone’s first horse they are training. If you know what you’re doing and are consistent, she’ll be fine, if you don’t, she is smart and will take advantage of that. This is not a filly that you can bully into submission, you need to gain her trust and when you do, I think she will be one of those horses that will do anything for you. Or use her as a brood mare in a few years.

She ties quietly and baths without an issue. We’ve walked her in and out of the sticks a few times and she did fine. We will work on trailer loading next.
