Meet Drake — The Sweetest Old Soul Looking for a Soft Place to Land

Drake is an 8-year-old Lab/Shar Pei mix with the gentlest heart and the cutest old man personality. Before rescue, he spent an unknown amount of time chained outside after his previous owner went to jail. Despite that, Drake is incredibly sweet and just wants a calm, loving home where he can finally feel safe and relaxed. 🥹

Drake is believed to be deaf, but he navigates the world beautifully and responds very well to hand signals and visual cues — he’s a smart, loving boy who just wants to be close to his people.

Drake does have a skin condition that requires daily medication and routine care, but he’s already improving and deserves someone willing to love him through it. He prefers not to be left alone outside and really just wants companionship and comfort.
