Chevy is a handsome 1-year-old Brittany Spaniel/Coonhound mix who truly has it all — sweet, social, goofy, and incredibly well-mannered. He loves other dogs, does great with kids, is potty trained, crate trained, wonderful on leash, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Honestly… he’s the whole package. 🥹

But Chevy comes with one heartbreaking piece of his past. Due to abuse early in life, he is deeply fearful of men. He has been through two different board-and-train programs and, despite everyone’s best efforts, he still struggles to feel safe around them. He is NOT aggressive at all — just constantly nervous and unsure. He does gain confidence when other dogs are around and takes comfort in following their lead.

Because of this, Chevy would truly thrive in a female-only home where he can finally relax and feel secure. He deserves a peaceful environment where he doesn’t have to live in fear and can simply be the happy, loving dog he’s meant to be.
