ZelleComplete 13-piece circa 1925 American Jacobean Revival dining suite in dark oak with mahogany top. All pieces professionally refinished and in excellent structural condition.
Unique "self-expanding" extensions that slide under the table when not in use. Table length without extension: 80"; one extension: 110"; both extensions: 140".
Set includes: Extension dining table, 7 carved high-back side chairs, 3 captain's chairs, monumental two-section china hutch/cabinet, and a distinctive hexagonal carved server/sideboard — all with matching carved detail and original brass hardware.
Dining table includes custom-made, felt-lined protectors, cream linen tablecloth that fits fully-extended table, plus linens for shortened tables.
Fully documented provenance: featured in a 2006 Scripps Howard News Service antiques appraisal column. The suite was refinished by a craftsman who also worked on Kennedy White House furniture restoration. Original documentation included with sale.
