ApplePaySelling my established Camponotus floridanus ant colony. This is a large, healthy, queen-right colony with an estimated ~1,000 workers, strong activity, massive brood piles, and a living queen.
This is not a small starter colony. It is already established, housed, and active.
Included:
The setup alone was about $70 + 45$ for the Queen, and the colony is already moved in and established. This would be a good colony for someone who wants a large display colony without waiting years to grow one from a small starter colony.
Important note: this is a large and very active colony. They will test barriers and make their way to the lid, so they need a secure outworld/lid setup and someone who understands ant keeping. I would prefer this go to someone with previous ant-keeping experience, ideally someone who has kept Camponotus or another medium/large colony before.
Local pickup only. No shipping.
Asking $300 OBO. I am open to reasonable offers from someone experienced and prepared to care for them.
KSL Classifieds makes it easy to buy and sell with peace of mind. Check our safety tips and quickly report anything that doesn’t look right to keep your experience smooth and secure.
