Engine: 3.6L Pentastar V6
Configuration: Variable Valve Timing (VVT) – Non-VVL
Condition: Re-Ringed (professionally disassembled, inspected, tested, and reassembled with new or in-spec parts only)
This is not a junkyard pull and not a quick reseal. Every engine I sell is fully torn down, carefully inspected, tested, and reassembled to ensure it meets proper specifications before it ever leaves my shop.
What “Re-Ringed” Means:
The engine is completely disassembled and each component is individually Cleaned, Measured and Inspected against factory specifications
Any part that is broken, damaged, or worn beyond spec is replaced. Parts that meet spec are reused. On a Re-Ring the piston rings get replaced regardless of condition and the cylinders get honed to guarantee a proper seal.
Block and Heads are also always machined on a Re-Ring
Inspection, Testing & Assembly Process:
- Full engine teardown and cleaning
- All new engine gaskets and seals
- Valve seats lapped and vacuum tested
- Cooling passages pressure tested and vacuum tested
- Cylinders (Piston rings) vacuum tested
- Cylinder leak-down test performed after final assembly
Timing system inspected and replaced as needed
Lifters, rockers, camshafts, when required, not automatically
Head gasket surfaces always get machined
Important Notes
This engine is not advertised as “rebuilt” or “remanufactured”
It is a professionally inspected, tested
