Quite heavy, but empty, and drawers can be removed for lifting. Latches work and do keep drawers from sliding open when shut. My family has used this for many decades. It has some scratches, a sticker and tape residue, and a couple of tiny dents, but works great. The lock would need to be replaced since we don't have a key. But that is optional. I hear that they are easy to find and inexpensive at Home Depot. Price is negotiable, and Venmo is preferred.
