VenmoWe have a couple of lambs available from our 2026 lambing season!
Our flock is disease-tested and we practice biosecurity measures. The dam’s of these lambs have all been tested for OPP, CL, Johne’s, Qfever, Tuberculosis and Brucellosis.
Chocolate Mousse (Ewe Lamb): •Born 02/16/26 and was a twin. •She is moorit(brown)-based and is SGGM (this is a unique single gene in the Icelandic breed that expresses the grey and mouflon patterns together). I think she is carrying solid. •She is out of my high-percentage Icelandic crossbred ewe, so she is not pure icie. Her sire was 100% Icelandic, dam is mostly Icelandic but has some merino in her background. •Her dam raises the biggest and fastest growing lambs, and I would expect Chocolate Mousse to follow suit with her own lambs. Her dam is very hardy and has great parasite resistance, and at 10 years old she is still healthy, lambing well and has strong conformation that will continue to serve her well. •Has correct teat number (2) and seems to have decent teat-length. •Scurred (polled dam, horned sire). •Her dam is not as productive of a milker—she has small teats and a pretty steep lactation curve. She does have high-quality flavor and fat-content in her milk, and loves to be milked, making her easy to handle on the stand! She typically gave us around a quart at the beginning of milking, but drops off pretty quickly to about a pint with once a day milking. •Chocolate Mousse’s sire is “Buckram” •$300
