VenmoSelling this vintage 1955 Lord Elgin shock master. It has a Speidel steel band.
Still runs and works very well. I do believe the crystal is made of that material that scratches can be buffed out. It’s pre-plastic.
The case itself is the majority of the gold. It is 14 karat and weighs just about 10 g.
I had a jeweler open it look at the stamp and date the mechanism.
The face has some small carrot diamonds on it.
Asking for $1100 or best offer.
