Home raised, and an unbeatable resume! “Sham Pain” was raised right here in our program. He is by our late son of Hollywood Dun It, Lil Son Of A Dun, AQHA point earner and NRHA money earner, who was also a grandson of Rugged Lark, two time AQHA World Show Superhorse, as well as three time AQHA World Champion. His dam, a soggy made ranch mare, who is out of a Paddys Irish Whiskey bred mare, and a Sweet Meet stallion. “Sham Pain” is cute, cute, cute! He is a golden buckskin, with big round dapples that pop through in the summer. This gelding stands 14.2 and weighs 1200. Tiny head, big hip, he’s an eye catcher. “Sham Pain” spent the first several years of his life with some very good friends of ours, that owned his sire prior to us. They used Sham Pain as a lesson horse, packing around riders of all ages and levels. Their daughter used him to compete in High School Rodeo in both barrels and poles. Since being back home with us, we have used this gelding extensively on the ranch. He has attended ranch rodeos, team ropings (on both ends), barrel races, brandings, modeling photoshoots, and hunting trips. When we have novice family in town, Sham Pain is who we have carry them around. Our intention was to keep him for our kids to Peewee and Junior rodeo on, however, they are obsessed with the horses they ride now, and we don’t foresee that changing in the near future.
