Model Information: • Model Number: A1243 • Part Numbers: MB110LL/A / MB110LL/B
Design & Build: • Full-sized keyboard made from aluminum, released in 2007. The entire body is very thin, with a design quite different from all previous Apple keyboards.
• Sleek and thin enclosure in silver anodized aluminum with white keys.
• While the bottom is mostly flat, the back portion has a horizontal bar which runs the length of the device, so when sitting on a desk the keyboard is tilted upwards slightly. Key Mechanism: • The keys use a low-profile scissor-switch mechanism, making the keyboard similar to those used in Apple’s laptops of the time. The keycaps are white with grey lettering.
Layout & Keys: • Extended layout includes a numeric keypad, document navigation controls (page up, page down, home, and end), and full-size arrow keys.
• Function keys offer quick access to Exposé, Dashboard, screen brightness, volume, eject, play/pause, fast-forward, and rewind.
• Also includes Apple-specific keys: a Command key for shortcuts, an Option key for entering diacritical marks and special characters, and an Eject key
Connectivity: • Wired, USB. • Includes two USB 2.0 ports on the right and left back of the keyboard.
Dimensions & Weight: • Item Height: 1.18 in. | Item Width: 18.5 in. • Weight: approximately 1 pound.
Comparability: • System Requirements: Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later, USB 1.1 or 2.0, and Aluminum Keyboard Software Update 2.0. • Thanks to its use of a standard USB port, it also works on Windows and Linux machines without the need for additional software or hardware.
Besides a little dirty and dusty from being put away this keyboard is in otherwise perfect working condition.
Selling because I am moving away in June and I need to downsize. If I can’t sell them by June 24 I’ll donate it to a thrift store which will sell this item for more so take advantage of this great deal while you can.
