Upgrades have included but not limited to; -Solar -Interior and exterior audio visual upgrades with Bluetooth capability. -Laminate flooring in kitchen and bathrooms. -LED lighting throughout. -2 Full-size refrigerators. -Beverage Fridge in upstairs bar. -2 Chest Freezers upstairs.
Regular maintenance is extensive and ongoing. We make sure we take care of our boat.
Your ownership stake buys you 1/13 ownership of the business LLC and its assets. The houseboat and the business bank account are the current assets of this business LLC. Your ownership in this LLC entitles you to one week per year of usage. Week #8, usually the 3rd week of July. (July 17th-24th this year). Additional weeks are available in the off season (end of August through end of May or beginning of June). The ownership dues are $5,000.00 per year per share (already paid for 2026). This covers slip rental, insurance, satellite internet, regular maintenance, registration, and national park tags. In addition, it also puts a decent amount aside into the business account for new repairs and desired upgrades. If new repairs and desired upgrades exceed the amount in the business account, additional assessments are levied on each owner. This has never happened though.
