Rachel is a 1.5-year-old Maltese with the most tender, loving soul. She weighs just 3.8 pounds, making her an extra tiny, delicate companion. She is spayed, fully up to date on all vaccinations, hypoallergenic and has been beautifully cared for since day one. She came from a top-tier breeder and was flown to Utah with a pet nanny—she truly is a special little dog.
About Rachel:
- Exceptionally sweet, gentle, and deeply loyal
- Bonds very closely to her person—she will be your constant companion
- Loves to be near you and thrives on connection and affection
- Sensitive and emotionally intuitive—she needs a calm, kind environment
Rachel isn’t just a pet—she is a heart dog. Her person means everything to her.
Her Ideal Home:
Rachel struggles with anxiety and needs a home where she can feel safe, secure, and prioritized. Because of this, we are being very intentional in finding the right fit.
Her ideal home would be:
- Someone who is home most of the time (retired or work-from-home)
- A calm, low-traffic household
- Preferably a single-dog home where she can be the center of attention
- Someone patient, gentle, and understanding of sensitive dogs
She does not respond well to traditional discipline or firm training methods—she needs a soft, reassuring approach and lots of love.
Why We’re Rehoming:
We love Rachel more than words can say, and this is not a decision we’ve made lightly. Due to recent changes in our family and our busy schedule, we simply can’t give her the level of time, presence, and emotional support she truly needs to thrive.
We know her perfect life is out there and she deserves it.
We paid significantly more for Rachel than the listed rehoming fee, and she is worth every bit of it. Our priority is not profit, but finding the absolute best home for her.
We will be very selective about where she goes.
