PayPalMy family and I just bought a new-build home, and while the backyard is beautiful, it appears the builders generously included enough empty space for what can only be described as an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
The only problem?
We didn't order an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
So here I am, doing what every responsible homeowner does: asking strangers on the internet if they have hundreds of cubic yards of dirt they don't want.
Seriously.
If you have fill dirt from a construction project, excavation, landscaping job, or you simply woke up one morning and thought, "Wow, I have way too much dirt," then today might be your lucky day.
I need approximately 220 cubic yards of fill dirt.
Yes, 220.
No, that's not a typo.
At this point, I'm pretty sure I need my own zip code for all this dirt.
I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount, but let's keep in mind that I just bought a house, so my financial advisor (my wife) has informed me that "going broke for dirt" is not currently in the budget.
Bonus points if you can deliver it. I mean, when does someone ever post online and say:
"Hey, you know that giant pile of dirt you don't want? Bring it to my backyard, dump it there, and we'll both pretend it never existed."
Boom. Two problems solved.
And look, I'm not saying whoever shows up with enough fill dirt to solve this problem is Superman or Superwoman...
...but has anyone ever seen the two of you in the same room together?
Exactly.
Located in West Haven.
Please message me with what you have, how much, and whether delivery is possible.
Help me turn this future swimming pool back into a backyard.
