Last year I installed a large Bimini top, which is a game changer for the harsh sun at Utah lakes. In the last 18 months, it has had the drive, exhaust, and throttle boots replaced with quality, genuine MerCruiser parts. The power steering pump was replaced at the end of last season with a new alternator and starter. The engine has excellent horsepower and runs beautifully. The chrome tips on the back of the transom are a “Captains call” exhaust system electronically switched on the dash for running quiet in the water, or at the flip of a switch having that beautiful sound of the powerful V-8 motor popping above the water. Before the last trip to Lake Powell last September, I replaced all 8 wheel bearings, hubs and seals. I also installed all new electric brakes and had all four bearing buddies installed professionally with caps and the proper marine grease for easy maintenance. It has custom chrome wheels with very good tires.
