Manufactured in July 1925, this Steinway & Sons Style XR (Serial No. 232860) is a rare and historically significant reproducing player grand piano. Built on the scale of a Model M (5'7") but housed in an extended 6'2" cabinet to accommodate its original pneumatic player mechanism, it offers a rich, resonant tone and a remarkably responsive action.

The original pneumatic player mechanism was removed long before I acquired the instrument. For nearly 25 years, this piano has been a cherished part of my family and has provided countless hours of musical enjoyment. I am now relocating to a condominium in a 55+ community and no longer have the space to accommodate this exceptional instrument.
