Pepper is a Grey, Four year old quarter horse mare. 56 inches tall (14 hands) great hard feet, farrier doesn’t think she will ever need shoes, easy keeper, only feeding her one and a half to two flakes per day right now and she is more than fine. She had 60 day of training last year but she needs more work. my daughter used her for 4H and showed her in hand two years ago, they did really well and won a buckle. she stands great for farrier, bathes grooms and is easy to catch, doesn’t like fly spray though. She loads great. bought her as a yearling grade, she seems cow bred but I dont know for sure. She was very dark when we got her but she’s dappling out pretty quickly and I suspect she will be quite light. We are selling her because she was mainly used by my teen daughter who is now too busy for her and I have a colt I would rather put the money into for training and we had an isolated incident where she pinned her ears at my youngest daughter and ran after her so now she’s afraid of her. Pepper would be very good for someone experience, A teen in 4H or someone who could put the training into her. Shes has all her shots, teeth are done, we keep up on her feet.
