VenmoUp for sale is a stunning, highly collectible mid-century modern equestrian-style side table designed in the manner of French modernist icon Jacques Adnet for Hermès. This is a rare, designer-level statement piece that beautifully blends rugged ironwork with high-end vintage luxury.
Dimensions Height: 24 inches Diameter (Glass Top): 24 inches
How Old is This & How It Was AgedAge:
Approximately 50–60 years old (Circa 1960s–1970s).
How it was aged: This piece is a premium mid-century gallery reproduction of Adnet's 1950s French campaign designs. We aged this table by examining its structural materials and patina. The heavy, solid cast iron frame features authentic mid-century casting techniques (evident in its weight and weld style). Furthermore, the trompe l’oeil (trick of the eye) painted finish shows genuine, minor oxidation and micro-wear consistent with 50+ years of careful home display. This authentic aging cannot be replicated by modern factory distressing.
Condition Overall Rating: Excellent Vintage Condition.
Frame: The heavy iron base is rock solid with no structural defects, cracks, or loose joints. The original painted "stitched leather strap" finish is beautifully preserved, showing only a light, natural patina that enhances its vintage character.
Glass: The thick, clear beveled glass top sits securely on the tripod base. It has no deep scratches, chips, or cracks.
The "Vibe" It Gives Off
This table radiates a Sophisticated Equestrian & Dark Academia vibe. It feels like something you would discover in a historic European estate, an upscale hunting lodge, or a high-end designer boutique in Paris. It perfectly balances masculine, heavy iron lines with the clean, airy elegance of a round glass surface.
Where to Style This in Your Home
The Living Room: The perfect end table nestled between a leather sofa and an armchair to hold a cocktail or a statement art book.
The Home Office / Library: Placed next to a reading chair under a brass floor lamp to elevate your workspace.
The Entryway: A striking accent piece in a foyer to immediately set a curated, high-end tone for guests entering your home.
Why You Should Buy This Table
Investment Value: Unlike mass-produced modern furniture from big-box stores that depreciates the moment you buy it, vintage Adnet-style pieces hold and appreciate in value. Similar tables routinely sell on high-end antique sites like 1stDibs and Chairish for $800 to $1,200+.
Unmatched Durability: Built from heavy, solid cast iron. This table is incredibly sturdy, won't tip over easily, and is built to last for generations.
A True Conversation Starter: You won't find another piece like this in your neighbor's house. Its unique horse-bit, buckle, and strap detailing makes it an instant focal point in any room.
Terms: $800 or best offer. Cash or Venmo preferred. Must be picked up locally in Kanarraville, Utah. Please bring a blanket/wrap to safely transport the glass top. Text or message via KSL to arrange a pickup time!
