VenmoThis dark Aloha rooster hatched on 4-19 so he is coming up on 11 weeks old. He might get a little more white coloring as he gets older, but being this dark is within the range of possibility for Aloha. A hen of this breed might lay tan or blue eggs. These chicks have been outside in the coop for a month or two now and are definitely big enough to be around adult birds. He is confident and definitely learning how to be a rooster. He is attentive and runs over to supervise whenever I am catching one of the pullets, but he doesn’t actually pick fights with me. He is accustomed to a no-crow collar and it doesn’t stress him out anymore.
