This Belgian D’uccle rooster hatched on 4-19 so he is coming up on 11 weeks old. These chicks have been outside without heat for a month or two now. He’s definitely a rooster, he’s learning to crow and is protective of his girls. He stays close and keeps a careful eye on his bantam flock, but doesn’t get aggressive with me. He’s a gorgeous pumpkin color, but has also been getting more of the white Mille Fleur mottling coming in as he gets older. He’s going to be a gorgeous roo and would make healthy babies, but I have too many roosters this season.
