Hondo is the kind of horse that most anyone can ride. He’s been there, done that. Hondo’s worked in a feed lot, done all aspects of ranching, and has been taken on trail rides all over in some pretty rough country. More woah than go, but still able to get any ranch job done. He’s been a great confidence booster for my 11 year old whose ridden him all over bare back in just a halter. He’s roped off him and gathered cows too. Hondo’s been in the arena some, but mostly ridden outside. He’ll stand tied all day long, loads himself in the trailer and loves getting baths. We’ve kept him barefoot and he‘s always been sound. He has a blemish on his left eye but it doesn’t bother him and our vet looked at him when we first got him and again last week and said it shouldn’t ever affect his vision or cause a problem.
