Garth – 6-Year-Old Shawave Mountain Mustang Gelding
Garth is a 6-year-old Shawave Mountain Mustang gelding available to the right home. BLM reassignment is required.
Garth stands approximately 15.1 hands and is a stout, well-built gelding with excellent conformation. He's athletic, nicely put together, and has a lot of potential with the right person.
When I brought Garth home, it took about a month to get a halter on him. Since then, he's made it clear that he needs a more experienced trainer than I can be for him at this stage. He has a lot of try and isn't mean, but he doesn't give his trust easily. He'll do best with someone experienced in restarting mustangs who has the time and patience for frequent, short sessions to build his confidence.
This is not a horse for a beginner, but in capable hands, I believe he'll make someone an exceptional partner. His next home is very important to me, and I will be selective about where he goes.
— Price includes BLM reassignment.
Located in Tooele, Utah.
