This colt has been started the right way and has had more real-world experience than most horses his age.
He's been exposed to branding, gathering, sorting pairs, and plenty of cattle. He's comfortable working in a herd, around commotion, ropes, dogs, four-wheelers, and everything that comes with a busy ranch. While he's still young and learning, he has handled every new situation with a willing attitude and a good mind.
He neck reins, moves willingly off your leg, has a soft mouth, and wants to please. He's been started on the roping dummy in the arena on both the head and heel side and has taken to it naturally. He's also been hauled and ridden outside enough that new places don't seem to bother him.
This isn't a finished horse, and I'm not advertising him as one. He's a solid prospect with the kind of foundation that will let someone take him in whatever direction they choose—ranch horse, ranch rodeo, rope horse, or dependable using horse.
His size, bone, and athleticism, combined with his disposition, make him one I'm confident will only continue to get better.
I'm in no hurry to sell him and he won't go to just anyone. If you're looking for a well-started young horse with a bright future, I'd be happy to visit with you.
Please don't contact me payment plans or low-ball offers.
