Moony is the type of mare that genuinely enjoys getting out and doing things. If you love exploring, riding around town, grabbing a drink at the drive-thru, or simply having a fun horse to saddle up and go, she is always ready for the next adventure. She's been taken into town, through gas stations and drive-thrus, and takes it all in stride.
She has been ridden by a 12-year-old lesson student and is a fun, responsive ride, but she is not being sold as a beginner or children's horse. Moony is best suited for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider who will appreciate her forward, energetic nature. She naturally has a fast walk and would much rather keep moving than mosey along, making her an enjoyable partner for someone who likes a horse with some ambition and personality. If asked correctly, she can settle down and relax.
Moony is well-built, stands tied nicely, enjoys being groomed, and has excellent ground manners. She is very knowledgeable in round pen work, neck reins, and truly shines when she has a job to do. She is sensitive and can occasionally be a little spooky, but she does not buck or bolt.
She is currently shod on the front and is good for the farrier, although she can be somewhat sensitive about her legs. She also has some maintenance, which can be discussed with serious buyers.
