ApplePayI purchased this Getzen Capri trumpet when I was in the eighth grade and played it for the next two years. I was a very good trumpet player, but I regretfully chose sports over band and eventually stopped playing. I have kept the trumpet all these years, and I would now like it to find a new home where it can be played and enjoyed again.
This is a vintage, American-made Getzen Capri silver-plated B-flat trumpet. The serial number is 25345, and I bought it in 1978. It remains in full working order.
The trumpet shows honest cosmetic wear from its age, including worn silver plating, tarnishing, and surface marks, particularly around the bell. These affect its appearance but not its function. The older hard case also shows wear, including damage to the handle.
Includes the hard case, straight mute, polishing cloth, valve oil, and the mouthpiece shown in the photographs. This is a fine opportunity for a student, returning player, or someone who appreciates older American-made instruments.
