Meet Cinnamon! 🤎 Cinnamon is approximately 20 years old, stands 14.2 hands, and has been with me for about six years. She is an incredibly sweet mare that I love dearly, and this is not an easy decision. She deserves more than I can currently provide. She is currently living alone in my backyard in what was meant to be a temporary arrangement that unfortunately became long-term. She deserves the companionship of other horses, and I'd love to find her a home where she can have that. I haven't ridden her in about a year due to personal circumstances, but she is green broke. If someone decides to bring her back into work, I would recommend an intermediate to experienced rider. She has more "go" than "whoa" and can still spook occasionally, but she is not a bolter. Cinnamon has great ground manners. She loads into a trailer, stands tied, enjoys baths, and is good for the farrier, although she can be a little particular about her hind feet. She is currently a bit overweight from being out of work, but I expect she'll slim down quickly once she's back in a regular routine. She is an easy keeper, though she does need a blanket during the winter because she tends to shiver if she gets even slightly wet. She's wonderful to be around and enjoys attention. She does well with dogs, kids, four-wheelers, and lawn mowers. I've taken her camping once, and she did amazing—in fact, she seemed more relaxed and confident in the mountains than she ever was in the suburbs. This is a difficult sale, but I simply can't afford to keep another horse or pay boarding fees, and I want what's best for her. She will go to her new home with her winter blanket, fly spray, and her remaining treats. I also have locally grown three-way hay available, and I'll include the rest of what I have for an additional $100.
