Very clean Specialized Tarmac SL3 Expert in excellent mechanical condition.
The Tarmac SL3 is one of Specialized’s most iconic carbon race frames—lightweight, responsive, and still an outstanding ride today. This example has just been fully serviced and is ready to ride with fresh cables, a new bottom bracket, and quality Continental GP5000 tires.
Unlike many race-oriented bikes of this era, this one is equipped with a compact 50/34 crankset, making it a much friendlier bike for climbing and everyday riding while still retaining the quick, responsive handling that made the Tarmac famous.
Highlights • Specialized FACT 10r carbon frame and fork • Size 54 cm (best suited for approximately 5’7”–5’10”) • Shimano 105 5700 2×10 shifters • Shimano 105 5700 front derailleur • Shimano 105 5600 short-cage rear derailleur • Shimano R561 dual-pivot brakes with excellent pads • Shimano FC-R600 170 mm compact crankset (50/34) • Ultegra 6700 11–28 cassette • Shimano R500 wheelset • Continental GP5000 700×25 tires in good condition • FSA SL-K carbon setback seatpost • Specialized Body Geometry Toupe saddle (143 mm) • Specialized alloy cockpit • Fresh Specialized bar tape
Recently serviced • Brand new Jagwire shift and brake cables & housing • Brand new Shimano Ultegra BBR60 bottom bracket • Brand new CNCLOL headset • Professionally adjusted drivetrain and brakes • Ready to ride
Condition Mechanically, the bike is excellent and needs nothing.
Cosmetically, it shows normal signs of use expected for its age, including some scratches and scuffs. The original red graphics have also uniformly faded to a pink hue over time—a common cosmetic characteristic on some of these frames—which is reflected in the price. Despite that, the bike still presents very well and looks sharp in person.
Clean, lightweight carbon road bike that’s ready for many more miles.
