VenmoAn EXTREMELY sturdy practice pitching "mound". Measures a full 4'x8' with slope down from 10" to 4" over 6' of length - mimics actual mound slope very well. I added the dimensions onto the pictures.
I designed and built this myself several years ago for my son - he got a lot of good practice out of it but now hopefully someone else can benefit from it. It has always been inside - it is in perfect condition with no weather or any other type of damage. Built from 2x10s (angle cut to provide the needed slope) and a sheet of 7/16" OSB for the deck.
The materials to build it cost me over $100 10 years ago, so for $40 it's a steal. However, it is a serious commitment - it is very bulky and HEAVY. Don't expect to come get this in your sedan or even in an SUV. It will need a full pickup bed or a trailer. I will help load it - there are 2 handles on each side, but it's a two person job (at least) to move it around.
I am in Cache Valley, west of Logan.
