I’m not saying this is going to be your go to trail weapon but hear me out… why take your $2000-5000 bike out to the park and risk wrecking it cuz you bought way more bike than your actual skills require! This bike is dirt cheap and so much easier to learn the fundamentals of downhill on than modern free ride or enduro bikes. Solid aluminum frame, 1x10 drivetrain with a more downhill style x9 derailleur to keep you from breaking hangers.. coil shock to handle all the abuse you can possibly throw at it. This bike is super fun and will have you riding your main bike much better!
