Efficient little weed-eaters. Have kept the growth down on 2 acres for 2 seasons, reducing fire danger and eliminating the need to spray and till. They have done their job so well that I've started supplementing them with alfalfa pellets daily. A temporary move requires that I sell them. Soay are a smaller Scottish hair (wool is shed through the year) sheep. These sheep are all ewes, 2-5 years old not bred/not pregnant. They are not pets, are skittish, some more than others.
