2020 AQHA Registered Grullo Gelding – 15 Hands Mountain, Ranch & Trail Horse

This 6-year-old registered AQHA gelding is the definition of versatile, seasoned, and safe. Raised and worked in the rugged Utah mountains at elevations 6,000 to 10,000 feet, he has exceptional stamina, and sure-footedness. He is a rare combination of a proven ranch worker and a reliable, safe trail companion.

Worked as a pickup horse for a short time, has done some team penning and has pushed a lot of cows. He would make a great Queening horse.

Cattle Work: Experienced at tracking, sorting, and working cows(which he loves); has been roped off of a little bit.

Trail Riding: Confident alone or in a group. Navigates steep terrain, water, and debris with ease.

Temperament: More "woe than go." He has a great stop, a good spin and listens closely to rider cues, and is never in a rush.

Does not spook easily. Unbothered by sudden movements, loud noises, or chaotic environments. Loads in the trailer, good for the farrier, and saddles and bridles with ease.

While he has the buttons for a job, his gentle, forgiving nature means he could easily transition into an amazing family beginners horse.

He is very playful and likes to keep busy. We can put anyone on him to ride and he works well for all different level of riders.

He is currently in a stall but I think he does better turned out. Or at least in a bigger run. He gets pretty restless cooped up. He enjoys country life more than being in the city.

He will work an honest 12 hour day for you if you need him to.
