Matching pair of vintage L. Hitchcock rush-seat chairs, marked:

“L. HITCHCOCK – HITCHCOCKSVILLE CONN – WARRANTED”

Classic Hitchcock design featuring black painted wood, gold accents, beautiful fruit/floral stenciling, turned legs and woven rush seats.

Both chairs have wonderful vintage character. The rush seats appear intact and are in good condition. The wood and painted finish show noticeable scratches, scuffs and age-related wear, as shown in the photos.

I have left them in their current condition and have not refinished or restored them.

Beautiful collectible pair for farmhouse, colonial, traditional or vintage décor.
