Vanner Havis IT24-3500-01 True Sine Wave Industrial Inverter, this is not your average inverter, this is a true industrial Powerhouse! If you are not familiar with Vanner/Havis these the Best of the Best, look them up, you will find these in most emergency, military and industrial applications, these are around $4000 new, This is perfect for an off grid/solar set up, easily adaptable to Rv's, Motorhomes, Buses, Military, Construction Vehicles, Snow Cats, Cabins, Sheds, Garages, Emergency Power or any other scenario you can think of, I powered a shed/shop easily with one before I ran utility power to it. A 24v dc inverter is an advantage for most solar systems over a 12v dc set up because a 12v solar/inverter set up is more inefficient due to most solar panels charge voltage being around 24v-28v dc or more, which sends it to a charge controller which converts it to 12v dc for charging the batteries where an inverter inverts it back up to 120v ac. A 24v dc battery set up is closer to the panels charge voltage, meaning less voltage and heat loss, plus with a 24v dc set up the dc wiring can be half the size due to less current compared to 12v dc which saves a ton of money on cabling and has less bulk. Don't let the 24v dc rating dissuade you, with a simple y-cable set up it is easy to make a plug and play connection with 2-12v batteries or more with a series-parallel connection, I am happy to show multiple options for powering these bad boys. This is not a light Inverter, its 75 lbs, 15 3/4" long, 13 3/4" wide, 8" tall. Batteries and wire are not included but I am happy to help with advice and any other questions.
