Cute older 4bd/2ba historic home in heart of Sugarhouse, located close to Millie’s burgers. Area is excellent for walking around, really close to multiple grocery stores and shops. Easy access to highways and the U. Fenced in backyard with lots of street parking available, along with the driveway. Neighborhood is surprisingly quiet for being so close to restaurants and shops! The property is managed by a property management company instead of a private landlord so rent and maintenance requests are all handled through them.

House is older and we’re in city limits so utilities are kinda high at about $110-$140 each depending on time of year. We’re currently trying to figure out how to bring it down but I’d probably budget $120 a month just in case. Available mid/end of August, move in date flexible

There are currently 3 other women living here, everyone is very respectful and friendly. Open communication is great, no one here wants to deal with passive aggressive behavior. Sometimes we cook together, watch stuff together, hang out etc. And while it’d be great to make a new friend, also totally fine if the new person would rather keep to themselves and just be a housemate. We have a rotating weekly chore chart (which you’d be expected to help with) to keep things clean but also house looks generally lived in. Doesn’t need to be spotless, just don’t be gross lol

NO VAPING OR SMOKING! It’s not allowed and says that specifically in the lease. We’re not a sober household, we have drinking nights, so probably not the best if you keep strict LDS standards.

There’s also a huge floofy very very friendly chill dog named Juni who will literally just lay in the same spot all day. Very rarely barks, loves everyone, stinky breath, has the emptiest eyes you’ve ever seen. Another roommate will be adopting two kittens in August too. So while we love animals, we can’t have anymore with three.

Tbh I’ve loved living here! Been here about 8ish years now and no plans to move out. Rent is great for this area, and while the high utilities suck, comparatively it’s not that big a deal. Especially taking into consideration our location. And while the house is older (and looks it lol), maintenance is really good about fixing stuff up quick.
