Meet Reno! Reno is a 7-year-old registered Quarter Horse gelding standing 16 hands. He is a gentle giant with a wonderful disposition and an impressive amount of experience.

Reno is excellent in the arena and has been hauled to numerous arenas and events, where he consistently handles himself well. He knows his leads, side passes, and neck reins. Reno knows the barrels and has been hauled to jackpots. He also enjoys poles and could excel in that event if taken in that direction.

One of Reno’s best qualities is his calm, dependable nature. He is not easily spooked and takes new situations in stride. He has never bucked or exhibited any undesirable behavior with me. I have even put my beginner husband on him for trail rides, and Reno takes care of his riders.

Reno has participated in rodeo queen contests and did exceptionally well. With his calm demeanor, willingness, and presence, I believe he would make an excellent rodeo queen horse.

He is also a fantastic trail horse. I regularly take him into the mountains, where he confidently crosses deadfall, water, and challenging terrain. Reno has experience pushing cattle and, with his previous owners, has tracked a dummy and even swam.

Reno is a versatile, experienced, and incredibly kind horse who would make a wonderful partner for someone looking for a dependable all-around horse. He has the mind, experience, and willingness to go in many different directions
