Very cool genuine aircraft cockpit windshield/transparency manufactured by PPG Aerospace.
Part Number: PPG 5912290-508
This part number identifies it as the right-hand (copilot) windshield used on the Boeing 717 / McDonnell Douglas MD-90.
This is the real deal — extremely heavy-duty laminated aircraft glass, approximately 1-1/8” thick, still mounted in its original substantial frame with electrical connections for the heated windshield system.
Measures approximately 29” wide × 21–22” tall at the widest points.
Condition is exactly as pictured. It is being sold AS-IS as a collectible/display item only. No paperwork or airworthiness certification is included or implied.
Would make an awesome:
You don’t come across complete commercial jet cockpit windshields very often, especially with an identifiable part number.
