Newton is a 9 year old Shetland pony. He wants to be loved and is good to catch, especially if you have a treat with you. He can be a little flighty when he is getting to know you. I have ridden him around in small increments, he is good to steer around and stops well. He picks up all four feet nicely for a trim and also knows verbal queues like gee, haw and woah. Newton is respectful and wants to please, he’s always looking for the right answer. I have hooked him up to a cart before, it wasn’t great but it wasn’t awful either. Haven’t had the time to spend to make him decent but he’d be a hefun project for someone wanting to teach him to drive. I think he’d make a good kids pony for a tough and confident small child. He will come with a cart and harness set up.
