PENTAX WG-90 Blue Adventure Camera — A rugged, compact digital camera designed for outdoor adventures, travel, and underwater photography. It features a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, 5× optical zoom (28–140mm equivalent), and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The WG-90 is waterproof to 14 meters (46 feet), shockproof against drops up to 1.6 meters, dustproof, freezeproof to -10°C/14°F, and crushproof up to 100 kg of force.
It also has six built-in LED macro lights around the lens, allowing close-up photography from as little as 1 cm, plus underwater shooting modes and a built-in flash.
The PENTAX WG-90 is a particularly good choice for kids/teens and outdoor use, especially if the goal is a camera they can actually take along without worrying constantly about damaging it.
Pentax rates it for 14 m of water, drops of up to 1.6 m, temperatures down to -10°C/14°F, and crushing forces up to 100 kg. That's an unusually tough little camera.
